Blued and Painted, if that was a .25-06 I would have strong interest.

TJohn. I might turn loose of my Savage in 250-3000. Scoped and set up for Deer and Coyote. A bit light for Elk. Dialed in with 87 grain hand loads. Might be the most accurate rifle i own.

Here's a shot of my fav. rifle and my leg. Just a standard .556 with a temporary scope I had mounted for a hog hunt. I plan on swapping out the A2 front sight with a folding piece, probably from magpul.

If I had to pick a favorite from this group it would be the Dan Wesson 15-2.

My dad was a high school shop teacher, but he also did gunsmithing on the side. The top rifle in this picture was his personal project, it's a 1903 Springfield .30-06. that he built in the 1950s. He did all the work including building the stock from scratch and hand carving the floral decorations. The other rifle is one he built for one of his friends (I think it's a Krag but don't recall for sure), they're on display in my home town's historical society.
I have one of my dad's rifles. It's also a 1903 Springfield, still in stock military configuration except it's chambered for .22s. The military used them for training, they're pretty uncommon today. |

![]() ![]() It comes down to my favorite gun of the "week". After I got over the "it's too pretty to shoot" stage I put a few hundred through it Sunday and love it. Operates flawlessly and dead on accurate out of the bag.

No reason to post a pic, just a good ol Remington 1100
Like to have a Benelli Legacy, or over-under but can't justify the cost.

Bob Hall, that is a stock 500A barrel at 18.5 I believe.
Just got my first 5.56 today; will let you know how that sets with me after I get done with this next chemo and get back out to the mountain.

I've liked the M1/M2 Carbine for a good while, but I'm getting a little bored with it lately. I don't own a "favorite" one. Not sure what direction I'll go next.
