Paint code for 1972 Grand Ville
The wonderful world of Pontiac. New project: Mom and Dad's 1972 Grand Ville. I'm trying to figure the paint color. As a child always remember dad saying it was a special color. Well, I cant figure the code out. "D" next to PNT on the tag.
ST 72 26847 D 3002 BDY TR 581 A65 -- -D PNT 04A This is the body plate above. Can anyone help decode it for me? I have one lone surviving polaroid picture of the car new, dad didn't take a lot of pics of his cars, bummer. As a child I always known it to be light blue. Thanks for the help. The 71 and 72 GTO had a light blue color with a data plate code of "D".
Go on the UltimateGTO.com website and see if the GTO color is what you have. |
