Default 1970 GTO Ram Air IV

1970 Pontiac GTO, Ram Air IV, 4 spd., non-matching engine, Gold/Saddle int., PHS documented. This car was just freshly frame off restored. It had been off the road and stored since 1980. The car has all its original sheet metal except the drivers side rear quarter was replaced with a new old stock full quarter panel. All other sheet metal is in excellent condition. Factory Baja gold base coat clear coat with high attention to detail, straight body with proper alignment to all the panels. Original interior, except for the carpet and headliner were replaced. Seat covers, door panels, dash and instrument cluster are all original. The cars options are as follows: R.A IV, 3.90 Saf-T-Trac axle, PB, radio am/fm 8 track, remote mirror, Rally gauges, console, PFDB, 4 spd., close ratio Muncie trans, G70x14 white walls with Rally II wheels, hood tach, Var PS, soft ray tint windshield and a 3.90 gear ratio. New chrome rear bumper. Everything was refurbished in the engine compartment and under carriage of this rare example. Suspension, front end components, gas tank, brake system including the master cylinder, brake booster, stainless steel lines, new OEM dual style exhaust system with correct chrome exhaust tip extensions. . Engine is a 455 with a 428 crank, correct Ram IV heads intake. This engine is very strong and built to be street driven . Items not original to the car are carb, dist., Orig. Ram Air hood pan and cable, 65,000 miles, Highly detailed engine bay. Rebuilt M21 #''s match trans with the correct original Hurst shifter, #''s matching rear as well. This is a tremendously nice car a really nice restored, Driver frame off Ram IV car with original interior with very minimal wear. Beautiful under carriage, shows very good . Driven only a few hundred mile since completed. The rear spoiler was also added during the restoration . I am listing this car for a customer of mine ,feel free to call with questions. Good looking car, I believe I saw this one on ebay last month? Somewhere in MA? I'm not a buyer, but definitely a good looking, original example.
