68 GTO/Lemans Rad Support Repair
I am in the process of repairing my rad support. The area where the bushings mount is rusted. Due to the rust I can not determine the proper hole size and location. Does anyone have the dimensions with a diagram?

The size is easy if you get a set of new bushings. I think they are 1". I may have pics with measurements from when I did mine, I'll have to look. Another option is to measure the size of the holes and distance between them on the frame horns and transfer the measurements to the bottom of the support.

GTO John posted a pic a week or so ago of the bottom of a clean '72 endura coresupport. I'd get you measurements, but my #1 coresupports are in epoxy primer & wrapped up where I can't get to them. Needless to say, the bottom rail of your '68 V8 Pontiac A-body coresupport is the same dimensionally as the pic John posted, & the bushing holes are oval shaped to allow for side to side adjustment of the coresupport.

Interesting...mine were so rotted I didn't realize they were oval. Fortunately I didn't have a problem aligning anything. Wonder if it's the same from '68-'72?

Really appreciate the feedback folks. I too never realized that they were oval. It looks as if the holes are centered from top to bottom. I would reference my frame horns for the L&R dimensions but I still have the front end on the car.
