Default Photos of new padded dash in my 59 Bonney

Here are some photos of my new padded dash and wonderbar seek-scan radio and power antenna and rear speaker switch along with tissue dispenser and litter basket.Really liked the way the dash looks and not that hard to install.Only had the metal with no pad since 1965 when we went to Houston,Texas to see my uncle and the heat pulled the dash up and it was removed and painted until now. The radio was harder to install than the dash pad.

The dash pad looks great! The litter basket is surprisingly large.

Great car!

Wish they still made the lurex weave carpet with silver flecks in it.I ripped up the old carpet since it was shot.I keep hoping someday they will remake it.The did for a while and I should of got it.

The Performance Years catalog still shows Lurex Weave carpet available for the 1959's. Might be worth a call. It's shown on page 3-11 of the catalog:

I think Harry Samuel used to carry it at one time. Maybe he still has some. He advertises in Smoke Signals if you get that ...i.e. are a member of POCI.

That dash brings back some memories but they are a little blurry after all those years.
