Default Lower body trim removal

I am trying to remove the chrome trim which runs from the back of the front wheels to the front of the rear wheels along the bottom of the car on a 76 formula 350. The same chrome spear is on my 72 formula. There is a phillips head screw at the front and back of the trim and clips hold it on in between. I cannot remove the fender without removing this piece of trim. How do you remove those clips?
Thanks.

After you remove the 2 screws.......take a dull putty knife or screwdriver and carefully start prying out/up on the bottom front.....as it releases....work your way back....

Once it is free all along the bottom.......then gently push it up...to remove it from the retaining strips

Thanks 2many!! I did find an old post here which said the same thing, thought I came back and replied that I had got the job done. I did search prior to posting, but didn't use correct key words in search. I came back later and typed in rocker molding removal and there it was. They gave the same advice as you did. Worked out great!! This site is so invaluable don't think I would have ever tried to restore a car if there wasn't this forum. I have collected quite a few maintaince manuals over the years, but nothing compares to getting advise from those who have been there and so graciously pass the knowledge along!
Thanks again.
