I'm going to be replacing the drivers side rock on my 68 bird convertible. I've done rockers on hardtops before but this looks like a lot more work.
Any words of advice from those who have done it before? Pics would be nice as well. |

Inner, outer or both?
I don't have any pics. But the job is very similar to the hardtop. Obviously, some extra in car bracing will make sure things don't move much. I have always done rockers on my body jig. We just attach struts to the hinge plate holes and the door striker in addition to the font and rear alignment pin holes. Go slow and check and recheck everything. With the tub all braced, I make the rocker fit the hole. Dave
