Ganassi is a second tier team. Danica has the best money can buy (and godaddy is spending a bunch).

Kyle Larson has a ton of talent, which he proved last weekend in both the Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series.

He was 2013 Nationwide Rookie Of The Year, and is a strong candidate for 2014 Sprint Cup Rookie Of The Year. The kid is only 21 years old, and in just a season (and a few races in 2014 so far), he has 22 top 10 finishes.

And the maturity he showed leading the Nationwide race last Saturday, holding Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, Joey Logano, and Matt Kenseth back, four excellent drivers with a lot of Sprint Cup wins under their belts, must have been a thrilling experience for him.

Chase Elliot is another kid I really like. Both he and Kyle Larson show a lot of maturity, and they can certainly drive 'em like they stole 'em.

Yes, you should hear much from both of them in the next few years. They both have a ton of talent and composure.

As he admitted in the post following your's - he knows I was correct in my statement.

He confuses Indy Car and F1 with real racing...

No caution needed - there was (virtually) nothing to see...

Well, so far with this years' F1 "TurdBlow", engine downsize to V-6, and the pitiful Indy Car (not a fan in current format) sounding engine note changes; I'd have to agree that less and less seems like real racing. Have to wait and see what this weekend's F1 Malaysian GP race looks like.

Most drivers that are currently sitting 27th in the points would be upset about the prospect of qualifying being rained out and the weekends starting lineup being set by the points standings.

Not Danica.

Her average starting spot at Martinsville is 37th...

Arrow Congrats to Erica - a REAL winner!

Now that Erica Enders has landed a stable sponsorship for her 2014 race season:

Any takers as to ratio of wins for Erica vs. Danica during this current 2014-15 race season? Think Danica will "finally bust out and win-win-win?!!!"

IIRC in Pro Stock you have to quali @ 16th or better to even make the race elimination rounds.
So...a 20th place finish "puts you on the trailer!"

Danica is the most successful female NASCAR driver at what, really? Hype?!!!
Do they give a NASCAR trophy for that now too?!!!

Well, the weather cooperated in Martinsville and Danica - to my amazement - qualified 10th.

It will be interesting to see how she handles being up near the front when the real racers want to get by on a short track with 43 cars on it.

She just might get the "chrome horn" if she can't go fast enough or won't get out of the way.

Well the good news is, when you keep getting lapped you get more TV time.

This had been her best track as far as average finish (12th and a 17th), but she had always started near the back and had benefited from frequent cautions and not getting caught up in an accident.

I think her excellent qualifying effort worked against her today. She was right in the thick of things right from the start and therefore was in the action right from the start on a very demanding short track

I wonder if she found the pressure of having faster drivers trying to get around her right from the start caused her to get worn down early? She's never started in the top 10 at a short track before - usually she didn't really need to get "racy" until she was in jeopardy of going a lap down. In other words - she didn't have a chance to get the feel of the track before having the better drivers trying to pass her.
