Default 1968 GTO

Here goes. I am offering this up to PY'ers before going to Craigslist.

1968 GTO
PHS documented
Originally Verdoro Green/Black interior
Hideaway headlights work fine
Muncie M-21 4 speed. Has Hurst Super Street shifter.
BOP 3.55 Posi
Hood Tach was added-not original
Line-loc is plumbed in but not wired up

Non-matching numbers YH code 400
Performer RPM intake
Holley Carb

Rear has been rebuilt with Auburn Pro-Posi

Interior is nice. Just needs sail panels, as the material came unglued. Still have the material if you want to keep it original.

Console lid needs replaced.

Speedometer does not work. I replaced the drive gear in the trans, and it still doesn't work.

New front tires BF Goodrich Radials 245/60/15. They are too wide on these Rally II wheels, as they rubbed on pass side and bent the wheel trim slightly. I would personally move them to the rear and go narrower on the front.

Slight leak at power steering pump.

Battery needs replaced, as it leaked acid and corroded the battery tray.

Paint was a not-so-great job done a number of years ago before I owned it. Looks good from 20 feet, but there are some cracks in various places and bubbling at the lower door areas.

Z-bar needs to be replaced.

Rear driver's side taillight housing needs to be replaced, as one lamp does not work, and someone broke it to install an aftermarket lamp base.

I have aftermarket Ram Air pans and seals-needs stock intake to install, as the RPM/Holley combo is too tall to fit it.

Have new, not installed door seals.

Runs and drives well. It has been a pleasure to own it, but it is time to move on. Two teenagers and their future College education deems that I put my dreams on hold for a bit.

This is about as honest as I can get.

Would like to keep the sale within Washington State, as I don't really want to deal with shipping and remote payment.

Want pictures of anything specific, just let me know.

Thanks PY!
