My right turn signal stopped working today. The bulb is fine and I have power to the parking lights. While trouble shooting it, the left one went out too. Flashers seem to work (although only flash left signal and switch won't stay engaged). When I engaged the turn signal stalk, the radio cuts out. I know they're on the same fuse but it seems to be a ground issue. I'm stumped. Would this indicate my switch has gone bad?

I put in a new flasher module tonight and now I have signals at 3 corners but still no front right. After installing flasher, both inside right and left indicator lights now blink, but nothing at front right lamp. Both parking lights still come on. I'm assuming turn signal switch is good so maybe ground or bad socket?

Park lights and turn signals are on different filaments in the bulb.
try another bulb first before going into other issues.

Thanks. I've tried several new dual filament bulbs before and after changing the flasher and can't get the blinker to light. I made the comment about the parking lights to confirm I have power at the lamp and a working ground. Somehow I'm not getting power to the blinker contact or I'm failing to get a ground return to the signal switch.

If the park lamp lights, the ground path is ok. Both use the same ground path. U need to check and see if u have power at the socket. 2 contacts n the socket, 1 for park lamps and 1 for turn signals. Both have the same ground path. Power for the turn signal comes from the signal switch, but there are a few connections between the two. so I would use a test light and follow the turn signal wire to locate the issue. i don't have a 67 wiring diagram so I can't tell u what colour to chase. If the rear lamp works for that side I would suspect a wiring issue. or bad turn signal switch.

Yes - I'm assuming a wiring issue as I have a working signal at right rear and a blinking dash indicator in both directions. Or at least I hope so as I don't want to take the wheel apart to install a new switch. I have the 67 wiring diagram from the service manual so I guess I'll start tracing the signal power path over the weekend. Thanks for the feedback.

Turned out to be a triple play issue. Bad flasher module, battery on its way out, and a loose power lead in the engine bay. Put in a new flasher last night, replaced the battery today, and repaired the lead. All four flashers now working again. Thanks for the tips
