Can some tell me which Header Gaskets seals the best.
The Copper one is from Mr. Gasket they have lip on the the port holes. I have never used the Copper one before. Which side does the Lip fit? The Engine or Headers.

The other is the new style from Bison, they are thinner than the old ones.
I used Bison gasket before and they were thick ones and never leaked for 13 years.
My Car is a 68 LeMans with a 350 engine, Headers are Hooker long 28" ceramic coated.
Please let me know if you need more info.

I have had the Hooker comps for over 30 years and tried many gasket brands. The Remflex gaskets that I put on last time are by far the best I have ever used:

I don't want to do this twice.
By the way I had to take off my Oil Filter adapter for lack of a better word. Do I need to put it back on before i put the headers on or will I be able to do it after the headers are on?

Yes.... REMFLEX to the rescue.

Same here, i would almost install a header gasket every year , Untill i installed the Remflex's. Now i have been sealed up for 3-4 years with no sign of failure.

I've used the copper on both headers & iron manifolds & I like them the best. You can take them on & off several times before you have to replace them & they seal great. The soft copper expands faster then the other metals around them & seal it everytime it gets hot.
