68 Firebird restomod dealer car with an LS3 in Texas at $74K BIN (Yikes!!!). We all know what opinions are like, but my take on cars like these is to take in a direction where the finished car make sense. If it's stock look you want, then it looks stock. If it's a full on restomod, do whatever you want. On this car I love the LS3. 426HP in stock form on my 2010 Camaro SS, I've never owned a car with more horsepower and I love it. So the blacked out look can work (I don't think this one does), but why stick with Rally II's? The interior has mods, but the seats are stock. Don't you think for $74K the interior would be fully upgraded with shoulder harnesses? Says it has a Hotchkis Sport Suspension. Is that good enough to make this car handle with an LS3?

70 GTO Judge at $76K in Florida. If this is a real Judge (it doesn't say it isn't and it does have Ram Air) this seems cheap for a car like this. Really cool colors.

It is a Judge, sold from Gay Pontiac.
On ebay in 2015 I believe.

70 GTO in Texas at $15K NR. Really nice car and the seller isn't established on eBay. I'd need to see it in person.

That's a beauty, inside and out. Nice to see the colored vinyl top (gold?) - to me it looks great with the gold paint and interior. Mikey likes it.

While I appreciate the effort that goes into a car like this, it reeks of a lack of planning IMO. Dealer car 79 Trans AM race car with a 455 at $20K OBO. Nice work on this car, but what are you going to do with it? Not street legal as none of the lights work and has mufflers? Has a Formula hood cut up to fit a giant fake FI air cleaner with a tunnel ram and dual quads. Has two big heavy seats and they left the door panels and carpet, while removing the headliner? Looks like it's tubbed with a roll bar and has a 12 bolt (prolly has 4:11's) with stock wheels. The 455 has 72cc #48 heads so compression is through the roof. If you bought car (assuming it has a title) and put it back to stock for the most part, you'd probably wind up with a nice car you could actually drive. I'd bet you a wooden nickel this project was started in the 80's when an air cleaner sticking through the hood was cool... now, not so much.

Another hot mess, or maybe I'm just extra snarky this morning? 69 Firebird Chevy 383 5 speed dealer car at $63K (WHAT?) in Oklahoma. The two-tone paint never works on these cars (at least for resale) and the Ford scoop looks out of place. The rear window vents date the car and the bling in the engine compartment looks shiny and costly. They took pictures of the interior in parts and that's probably because the front seats are vinyl and the rear is cloth. Probably drives ok and the undercarriage looks clean, but you could have a much nicer car at 1/2 the asking price IMO.

I think that's actually a '67 427 Vette scoop, or at least the shape of it, since they were originally molded into the hood surface. But I agree with your assessment of its looks on this car

I agree with just about everything you think about this 69 Bird, about the only thing that was done to my liking was keeping the chrome bumpers & the suspension upgrades. Everything else is a minus IMO.

80 Trans Am in NY at $12.5K BIN. They pulled it out of storage after 20 years and sprayed it with clear coat to preserve the patina. I'll offer up the first name for Billy and Peggy Sue's car... Merica.

69 Firebird 400 4-speed dealer car in NC at $48K BIN. Really sharp colors in green with a white top and interior. Doesn't say whether or not it's numbers matching or a real 400.

69 Grand Prix in Texas at $3500 BIN. The engine in these cars is the same as a GTO (minus the block code) and it has a posi... that's worth $3500. Ad states it's rusty (doesn't look too bad), but it's $3500 and the dash looks cherry. Has 6X heads, so who know what block it has?

66 Tempest wagon in Oregon at $7K BIN. Put some GTO bling on it and these look awesome. This car has a 6 cyl and three on the tree, so totally theft proof. Looks solid. What a fun car.

Kinda sad... 69 GTO Judge at $55K BIN at $65K in Arkansas. Has a built 70 455HO and converted to an automatic (was a 4-speed). Was an Carousoel red Judge and now in Mayfair maze (which really looks good). Wonder how much it would cost to bring it back to a non-NM car?

It was a Very Early Pattern Judge - 01C build week.
Missing most of everything , then the color change , tough spot to be in at that price range.

I'm all for folks doing their cars their way , but it usually equates to massive depreciation .
No visible depreciation in the current pricing .
Must be a keeper.
