[QUOTE=thews;6440466]1954 Pontiac Star Chief in NY at $15K BIN. Story goes the engine was rebuilt and the car was parked a long time ago. Cars like this pop up from time to time and typically the family just wants to get rid of it. I

That ample trunk space tho... 😆

69 Firebird in NH at $67K. Frame off restoration looks like quality work. Not the direction I would have gone, but I do appreciate the amount of work that went into it. It does have a Pontiac engine.

Low-option car other than the A/C. '65 steering wheel. Can't be an H.O. with a 4bbl (unless he's talking about block code).

Edelbrock intake and 400 style valve covers. I wouldn't be shocked to find that the engine had been changed. Good looking car though!

Never in my life would I have thought that was cool. That is the ugliest Firebird I have ever seen, hands down!

I agree it's ugly now, but when I was a teenager in the 70's, the wilder the car looked, the cooler it was. This car was probably done up good in the 70's, and instead of putting money into it, they just painted it. The "Celestial" car below is a 73 Trans AM with a 455 4-speed. The untouched original numbers matching engine is still in the car.

As far as ugliest Firebird ever, I would rank the eagle beak and Celestial right up there. Here's what the "ultimate" hot rods looked like back then:

This one doesn't look very old.
