Just curious, why are these all in a firebird Tech section? Shouldn't these be in a "for sale section"?

It's mostly first gen birds, but I'll link anything I think is interesting, including Canadian cars. Anyone is encouraged to post whatever Craigslist ads or eBay or whatever they want.

That 72 Lemans GT convert has got to be one of the rarest Pontiacs ever made.

That's kind of my curiosity. A lot have nothing to do with a technical stand point let alone even a firebird, they just seem to be cars for sale. Seems like a more appropriate location is "For Sale". I guess it doesn't matter, just seems funny.

Looks really nice. Would also love to have that in the garage. Too bad they left the 'Maro gills on the rear quarters.

Lmao, this thread is specifically 67-69 firebirds, so when I click on it that's what I want to see, why post gto's, 3 gen birds, that's why there is other threads for those cars, might as well start posting camaros, chevelles and novas here too and I am happy with my life. Hahaha

I click on it about every time i log on the site.
Its grown more widespread over the years in vehicle coverage.
But i like seeing the pickings
I'm not able to do all that ebay and craigslist hunting.

Most of the time its the only thread in this section i click on.
68 Birds are one of my favorite Pontiacs, but this section is getting hum-drum

i know i could by-pass the section altogether
but i come in and click on Thews thread , if nothing else.

Thanks Thews

I have 2 69 Firebird converts and a 75 Trans AM. The 75 is a really nice original CA car and I just can't tear it apart to build a 73 clone. I have a 72 Nose and valance off a Firebird, an early 70's T/A hood that I pulled from a junkyard in the 80's and a 74 GTO Ram Air air cleaner. Along with a red center console and seat belts, I'd love to find a rust free car I can put all these parts on. I mention this because this car would be a perfect candidate. If I had room I'd buy it right now cause I love me some red interiors. Located in "rust free" CA at $3500.

Default eBay sightings

I got two cars that while I wouldn’t call em “rust free” I’d damn sure make the claim of little rust. Ones a 70 roller for 2k that needs a lower patch on the passenger side. And a slight patch in the drivers side under the rear seat (or just leave it if your not building a show car) otherwise the floors trunk frame rails and windshield/firewall look cherry.
The other is a 76 Trans Am for 2500 that needs a patch on the passenger side rear (once again not a whole quarter) looks like it had a dent fixed ala 70’s style driver had a quarter attached. Door sills rockers floors and truck look great also a red interior car and a real Trans Am with its original 400 block to boot. Has a complete interior and both fenders and Hood The shaker is in the truck, but has been poorly opened up

Here's a 69 Firebird 350 HO convert. 69 350HO's are indistinguishable from a base 350 Firebird unless you open the hood. This is a numbers matching car, with added Ram Air, chrome valve covers and 400 hood. Ram Air was not an option on the 350HO. I find it interesting that the number "112" 69 convertible 350HO's were built, but if anyone can confirm its source I'd love to know where it came from. Reserve not met at $7.1K located in CA.

Snowflake alert...Someone has been offended. We all need to act repentant to insure no one is feeling stressed or aggrieved.

What a joke. This is one of my favorite threads and what does it matter the section it is in? Kudos to Thews for keeping it going. You know what you are going to get when you open the link. My advice is set your own ebay saved searches and avoid this thread...

Go Thews - we’ve got your back!

69 400 Convert with a funky badge in the grill. Worth the $13K bid IMO. Located in Connecticut. Put on some stock Rally II's and this car would pop.

I too enjoy the variety and most of the cars posted here end up on my watch list.

No cocktail shakers on that one unfortunately.

Yeah, I like this thread myself. I didn't even notice, or had forgotten, that it was in the 1st gen F-body section. Seems easy enough to look at the thread without being forced to linger on the cars that don't interest you. I pass over a lot of them, and I look at a lot of them.
Try it!

Sometimes cars are just too dern interesting not to point them out. Here's a 2010 Camaro turned into a Bandit T/A with 2K miles in Oklahoma. $45K with a reserve, I would love to own this car. I own a 2010 SS Camaro and it's a blast to drive.

I have to say, the high level of finish of these cars, with their custom pieces that look like production parts made in such small quantities are impressive. The fit & finish is comparable or better to something the General would put out.
