Doesn't the 50-50 paint code usually mean a different color top than bottom?
Ah l see it had a red vinal top. My 69 came silver w/blk vinal top but I don't think my data plate has the 50/50 designation. Odd.

50-50 was just white on top of white. But is commonly know as the trans am paint code. Not for sure but pretty good chance with a 50-50 it was a T/A. My T/A has 50-50 paint code. All it means on the 400 car is that it’s an all white car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

C on Invoice = White 50-50 on trim tag = White Paint on lower and upper body CC on Invoice = White Paint on lower and upper body = solid White painted body , no 2-tone No vinyl top on trim tag or invoice code or invoice line items/options. Hope that helps ![]() That invoice is for the White 400 Auto project, not the TA. Three 69's posted in a row can get tough to keep separated.

Gary, a Norwood built 69 T/A would have a D-80 on the trim tag. Not the case on a Van Nuys built T/A. Both plants used the 50/50 paint codes.
By the way, The AEE on the trim tag is for the decor group. |

68 400 Firebird in San Fran at NR $2600. This one reeks of pulling the ad before it ends because it didn't go high enough, but is a good reference for a similar car.

It did end early. You'd think eBay wouldn't allow multiple listings like this.
