oops
re : 70 GTO Convertible
factory AC car , not likely any Ram4 potential .
But something else could still be unknown about it , has caught my interest , in that respect.
Or its just another false alarm

Looks like 'YS' for the engine?

Doubt it's 'Numbers Matching' with 4 speed tranny and that engine code?

Here's an odd one... 1986 Grand Prix Aero Richard Petty edition with 33K on it at NR $7.1K in Michigan. I read an article on these cars that was pretty interesting. They were never fast production cars and the aerodynamics of the ugly rear window was only good on race cars. I'm sure they have a following.

74 Trans Am project in NY at $7500 BIN. Rebuilt eng and trans and has a bit O'rust. Paint it whatever you want. I have a 72 Trans AM nose and hood that would bolt right on this car.

Here's an interesting one... 71 Lemans GTO clone with a 455 and a Turbo 350 at BIN $23.K OBO in Texas. This car probably came with that front end and it looks sharp. I like the fact it doesn't have Judge stripes.

66 GTO Coupe in Nevada at $5000 NR. Has a 2BBL engine that doesn't turn over, but it is a Nevada car, so prolly minimal rust.

BAT not Ebay, but it is a 2009 G8 GXP Firehawk, and its a manual Trans car. I have only seen one in person at Norwalk in 2010.

71 GTO convertible in Massachusetts at $20.1K NR. Pretty cool 1 year only Sierra interior color. I've never seen a front end so badly rusted on a car that otherwise doesn't look too rusted? Prolly a fire caused it. These hoods are so long it really stresses out the buckle points in front of the hood springs. Hard to find a good original. Claims 67K original miles.

Wow... that's a bummer. Looks like the battery exploded while the car was sitting in storage, and no one knew it happened, so the acid just ate its way through the bottom of the hood. Had it been a fire, the scoop inserts would be toast...

74 Firebird with a rebuilt 455 and claims to have $30K in it. Looks like a lot of the hard work was done already. $14K BIN OBO in NY.

I like this one. 71 Pontiac Ventura at $7500 BIN in NC. Has some deep rust issues, but it runs and needs brakes. I like the patina, but the pass side 1/4 window looks rough. This isn't the car you want to take on restore. The metal work this car needs would be far too costly unless you did it all. Worth it IMO if you like these Novaish cars. Once we get into the $7500 range, this is the kind of car that's available.

Here's an eBayism I never told you about. You can order custom neon signs from China by doing a search on Customize LED Neon Sign. I can't remember which vendor I used, but I ordered a 69 Wings Down Phoenix based on a picture of the chrome emblem. They came back with an expected result, I agreed and the following picture it what I received. It's pretty cool and cost me about $300 years ago... not sure what it would be now, but pretty cheap. You could have a custom neon based on your car for prolly less than $400. The one next (80 bird) to it is sold on eBay and sells for about $360 https://www.ebay.com/itm/11185923558...oAAOSwIlBeh0hE

69 Firebird NR in OK. No feedback so I'd see it before I bought it, but could be a good deal if it's legit. A couple of inside pics and one wheel and that's it.
