Not sure about the whining about the $10. Hopefully in 15-20 years that original issue will be something highly sought after.

Having recently moved quite a few heavy boxes of old Pontiac magazines, I'll be happy to subscribe to the Ezine version. i honestly dont need the clutter. If anything earth breaking tech wise, can always download and print out a page, put in a file for future personal use.

Reason 2, Don is good people!

You can get an annual subscription in digital format for $30/year: http://worldwidenewsstand.com/Poncho...php?page=login I am going that route myself, I would rather have PDFs on my computer and tablet than magazines laying around.

Well scratch my last comment. I just paid $29.99 for access and now I find out I need to use Flash in order to view the magazine issues. That is not convenient at all. If they do not provide PDFs that I can load on my tablet or computer then I wouldn't bother and just wait for a print edition.

Read the article on Fred Simmonds.
Very cool!

I would have asked him about all the research he did on Pontiacs and see if he had more data to reveal.

Just happened to stumble on the fact that this will be a print magazine. Don has some work to do getting the word out. With the brand out of business, some of his best and least expensive advertising options are gone. I love the fact that a print version is going to happen. Knowing Don as I do, you will get your $10.00 bucks worth. It's the new reality of putting out a quality magazine, on good paper and getting it mailed out in small numbers. Best of luck to Don. It's a HUGE gamble on his part and no doubt a huge investment as well. If you have the 10 bucks, lets help him get this off the ground. After the crap deal he got from POCI from all his years of hard work, he deserves a break.

Generally, a magazine on the newsstand takes 6-8 weeks for the first issue to arrive. And, as a start-up, Pontiac Perfection should have its own timeline from press to mailbox.

But I have to wonder why you don't go to the source and ask for clarification? Complaining on the Internet without first talking to Don doesn't really do anything but possibly hurt Don and the Pontiac hobby.

I am patiently waiting as well, I contacted them after my digital purchase because the only way to view the digital edition was by an outdated flash app that does not work on tablets. I have not yet received an answer or received a digital edition that I can view on my tablet. I want a new Pontiac magazine to succeed but it has to work for 2015+.

Easy...buy two copies, read one and save the other! Looking forward to future issues.

Hello Donald,

I ordered a digital subscription exactly 1 year ago today. I still have not received any PDFs for my digital subscription. Today I my subscription renewed. Would be great to have the past issues, I am going on a work trip soon and can read them on my iPad on the plane. I sent you an email as well with my details.

Thanks,
Angelo

We have repeatedly addressed your situation and did upgrade to an HTML5 interface from the previous Flash setup about 6 months ago. We don't send pdfs, the pages are viewed online. If you would like to talk about it, please call me at 585-489-9826.

Hey Don,

That's great. I only received one email this past year about new issues and that was for the first issue and at the time I couldn't view it with my tablet. We are in contact now will try to find out how I get notified on new releases and how I can view them. Thanks!

We use Constant Contact to announce that the new issue goes online. It is usually on the first of the month. If you are not getting them, be sure sure to check your spam folder. If you are in rhe system, wrare sending the emails out to you. Hope this helps.

Source interlink lost a customer in me. Since this happened I have not seen the coverage that made PHR or HPP great in Hot Rod. I was a HR subscriber but it has gone down in quality. They need to rename it 5gen camaro and LS mag for all the raving they do about both. but that is MHO
