Yep - they are. I bought them from Ames. Curiously, they weren't selling them through the site, but on Ebay.

With the hydroboost, there's a lot of stuff going on in the front there where the battery was. It just made things easier to mount the battery on the other side. Plus, my radiator's overflow outlet pointed that direction, so we put an overflow tank there and the window washer tank as well. I'll get some more pictures up after the cruise tomorrow.

Looks great Chris! I was looking for your signature pic to get the "Before & After" shots but you updated it already lol. I like the 326 fender badges with the 400 under the hood.

I ended up with a cowboy adjuster who followed what I call the "Kaiser rule." (Let's just delay paying and hope he dies so we don't have to pay at all.) A good friend of mine makes a good living suing insurance companies - he says each case is a result of an adjuster trying to make a name for himself by screwing a policyholder.

I read up on the insurance laws in my state (particularly the time limits on when a claim must be paid or denied.) I was nice until 2 days after that date, then left him a polite but very firm message saying "California law says you must pay or deny my claim in X days. It has now been X+2 days, and I want my check. Call me and tell me when I'll receive it." The guy who would always take 4 days to return my calls left me a message 15 minutes later saying "the check is on the way."

Bad employee - not a bad company. I've still got my policy with them. Funny thing is: they sent me a "we value your opinion" e-mail shortly afterwards, and I gave them a piece of my mind. I never heard back - meaning they don't really read those things, or that's what everyone says.

Sorry to hear that you had a problem. It's traumatic enough with what happened to you (and others) and then to have deal with a "dumbo". I had the same problem a few years when my modern day got totaled by someone that ran a red flashing light. The insurance company found the lowest priced car of my make and style and called a "comparable". In the end he used the value of cars on a "certified" car dealer. I guess you just have to reject the first offers.

I love the color and the poverty caps! AND the parchment interior really sets it all off. I wish mine had parchment interior!

Thanks! Yours looks nice, too. Can you see out of the passenger side mirror? I can't from my drivers' seat - it's mounted where yours is, and I have to lean my head all the way over to the passenger side to see behind me through it. I'm thinking of sticking one of those "fish eye" things on it.

As for the battery tray, the back of mine will either mount left or right.

I don't have any problem seeing out of it as long as it is adjusted properly. That's the problem. Someone's always hit it and got it out of adjustment.

Mine doesn't turn towards the driver far enough. Just another minor item for the "to do" list.

The new rims and caps are on with the new rubber. (255s in the back) Much better traction!

They are 15X6 in the front with 205/60s and 15X7 rear with the 255/60. I'll have to get that posted in the "Wheels and Tires Combos" when I get a chance. Also - I'll take a proper photo with the hood latched soon, too. This shot was taken between changing the oil in the garage and flushing the cooling system outside. Didn't feel like latching it just for a pic.
