23rd at Dover, only 4 laps down. Finished just behind the under funded rookie driver Brent Moffitt in the 66 car. But she was FAST on pit road.........too fast entering AND exiting.

Good race for Danica - she actually improved 5 positions from where she started.

Of course you have to temper those results by the fact that even with a 23rd place finish she dropped to 28th in the points...

Larson did fairly well. Probably had a top 5 car and finished 11th. The boy is learning!

I'd prefer to have her not breed. We don't need any more ice queens...

2 things she could do that wouldn't irritate me. 1: Go and stay gone. 2: Quit Sprint Cup, start a Nationwide race team, let someone else operate it, hire 1 seasoned driver and 1 or 2 talented woman drivers. Until 1 of those 2 things happens, no other women stand much of a chance of getting in the show.

Option 1 would be good.

Option 2 - I could actually respect her if she did that.

If you always root for the underdog, then you shouldn't be rooting for the ice princess.

Root for Josh Wise, Cole Whitt, Justin Allgaier, etc...

These guys are driving 3rd tier cars with underfunded teams. The ice princess is driving some of the best equipment available with some of the best pit crewman in the sport. The only thing holding her back is the ability to drive fast in traffic.

Danica starts 16th this weekend. Her average finish at Pocono is 32nd.

And it appears that Gene Haas is already setting up Danica's exit from NASCAR...

In case you don't follow F1 (and many here don't) - Gene Haas (of Stewart/Hass Racing) is starting up an F1 team.

Quote:
Asked if Patrick would be a good candidate for the Haas Formula One team, Haas said, "I think she would. I think she would. She would bring an awful lot of viewership. I think it would be great for America. I think she would be a great candidate."
F1 needs her attention seeking skills more than NASCAR - please, please let this come true...

Arrow

She's 12th at almost the halfway point... 1,2,3, for the other Stewart/Haas cars.

She was 30th before the caution and pitstops. She came out, or stayed out in 12th right behind JR. 10 laps later JR was 6th and Danica was 30th, then she hit the wall.

Congrats to JR both on the track and with what he said after the race. Classy guy!

Congrats to Kyle Larson too, heck of a race!

Kyle Larson is everything that Danica was hyped up to be. And he's got a great future in racing.

Did anyone notice how Danica basically quit racing after Keselowski put her a 2nd lap down? With 3 or 4 laps to go she was in 33rd place.

In those final laps the racing legends of Landon Cassill, Reed Sorenson, Josh Wise and Timmy Hill passed her. Those are the underdogs that KS circutguy should be cheering for - they raced right up to the checkered flag!

The ice princess is a quitter...

Can we change the thread title to "Kyle Larson" so someone worthy of discussion is the focal point?

I won't say it will happen before the chase starts, but he'll win a race this year.
