I went to see this trans and checked it out. It appeared to be intact and complete. Just needed some cleaning up from usual road grime. The T/A it came out of was still there. I ended up buying one from another source but I found a manual on the Richmond site and just printed it out. I picked up a set of OEM 2.56 and 2.73 gears for my GTO once I get the trans in. (swapping out the stock 3.31's)
Let us know how you like it.

Nice Phil, thank you for the input!

KO has been good to deal with. He got the trans out this week and its slated to arrive on Monday.

Do you have a link to that manual? I thought those manuals were for the newer versions.

Nice score. I run one behind a mild 455 with a 9" Ford, 2.75 gear, and a 28" tall tire. It works great!

The biggest help in tearing one apart is a GOOD set of large snap ring pliers. Not cheesy soft steel Chinese ones-they will bend!
