Good news! I got the fuel injection system installed just in time to drive to Ohio next weekend! If anyone wants to buy a like new (driven 400 miles or so) Pro Systems 1000 CFM carb with 50cc squirters and all the bells and whistles let me know. It dynoed at 537 HP on my 455 and drove great around town too, excellent street manners. It was custom built by Pro Systems for my 455 and is perfectly jetted for a big motor with a moderate cam. It's all polished with black metering blocks and looks like new. Just finally got the chance to go with fuel injection and couldn't pass that up. I paid about $800 for it but will sell it for $450 rather than see it sit around. Can deliver to the Nationals next weekend so no taxes or shipping charges!

I'd like to hear more about the EFI you used.

Should have mentioned this is a 4150 style carb, not a dominator. Here are a couple of (bad) pics from my cell phone. Sorry, my good computer crashed recently and I lost a lot of my good photos.
I used the Holley Terminator EFI. I love the Holley EFI, hate the Holley billet in-line fuel pumps. Burned out three of them then switched to an aeromotive in-tank pump and no problems. I took the Holley billet pump apart after they declined to replace it because they only have a 3 month warranty. Inside was a simple factory-looking pencil pump. I'm tempted to buy a $50 factory GM fuel pump and put it in the fancy Holley Billet housing. Should work as well or better. Back to the EFI, you have to add the computer, O-2 sensor, etc. which is some work up-front. I hid the computer above the glove box and hid the controller in the center console so you don't see anything out of place. The first start-up isn't quite as easy as they show in the Holley videos, there is some tweaking required to get it to idle and then the engine has to fully warm up before the computer will start learning. Once it does, it's like magic after that. After a few minutes of learning it runs great and I can reach through the window and start it up cold and it idles beautifully. I was very happy with this carb as an alternative to spending around $2500 for EFI, but eventually the stars aligned and I was able to get the EFI.

Sorry, I thought the classified forums were for non-pontiac/non-automotive items.
