Found this on You Tube. Interesting part on GTO. I had seen pictures of eight lug wheels on a GTO but never seen one driving around. see the link:

Very cool. The Catalina has a 17 foot molding down the side. WOW I like when they show the GTO driving. You can see where someone did a burnout and then burned in second gear. Also the guy driving the lemans does a neutral drop. LOL Then beats the piss out of that car. NICE!!!!

As per my comment on that video.....


"Yep, the 8 lug wheels were the unobtainiun option. Due to conflicts with Kelsey-Hayes and John Delorean they were dropped for the LeMans, Sprint, and GTO for 66."
