Looks like you had some fun with your Poncho. Don't know your combo but that time looks very respectable.

Nice runs. I love seeing these Pontiac street driven cars lay down runs like that with 3.08 gears and DOT tires!......Cliff

Yep. Not too many Ferds and Chebbies at any track, on any day, that were driven there at 4000 pounds running 11.60`s. Course, most or none at any track would have had 3.08 gears. Even the big blocks would have had 3.73`s.
That`s the danger of Pontiacs on the street.

A few years ago I switched from the 275/60-15's to the 255's, and they actually hook up better with more air in them than the bigger tires did. I am running them on stock 7" Pontiac Ralley wheels, which does favor the smaller tires as far as how much tread meeting the pavement on the starting line......Cliff

Had a good time with TA man that night. Both cars were hooking good and i finally had a good string of 50s that night. The 47 run was really the icing on the cake.
I wanted to do couple more runs until i lost a alternator belt...` Ernie and myself are always looking to hunt the other brands down with our street cars. Going to head out tomorow night and see if i can get those numbers to improve. TA man cant be there but we have our Pontiac day coming up ,something looking forward too. |

What's the deal with listing E.T. at 594 foot? Haven't seen that before.

I believe that is where the beams start for the 1/8mile speed..if you do the math for the 594 and 660 split it works out to the mph for the 1/8th..
