I bought this car around the corner from my home last year, it was taken apart 34 years ago in 74 and was on 4 jack stands all that time. not bad for a year and two months in the Original vinyl top was two nice to take off.

Wow! That was a quick turnaround!

How clean was the body? In a garage on jacks for 34 years it had to have been pretty clean?

Great looking project!
Is silver the original color?

Bought my 1st '67 in almost the same situation and color combo, sliver w/black vinyl.

Whats the back story on it? i.e. why was it taken out of service?

Looks like it was. Notice the silver paint where the rocker and wheel opening trim were on the car for the red paint job.

That's a fantastic looking '67, very nice work. I like both looks of the wheel combos, what size tire and black steel rim on the rear?

Sweet lookin 67! Enjoy the hell out of it. You got a really good one. I love the color too.

Let me know if a set of those 15" Cragars are for sale. I need a pair to replace a set of 14s I have on my 66 GTO.

Thanks all, and yes its a real silver-glaze car P2
(Jeff Hamlin) he was going to make a race car out of it, got married, built a house, got divorced, I think drinking had a lot to do with it see first pic. I think the car being at he parents house save it, all parts were there motor heads everything.
(Nicks67gto) the body was super nice no floor rust or trunk rust even the back window had no rust, that why I left the Original vinyl top on it. we did very little repair on lower quarters
