That thussend matter for guys like us road racing being in diferend parts in the world at varius diferend elivations and tracks that have diferend tems and humidity it would be a blessing no carb tunning needed!!.. and that little bitty loss of a couple of HP is negleteble considering the mega loads of carb tunning for geting it right and iven then the weather can change in a harthbeat!!.. HO28 we wil have some soon as that awesome nice dry sumb system is on its way!!!..

Depends on if the carbon fiber is up to the task of of 30 pounds per square inch of boost over all of the square inches of the carbon fiber section. Really do not see any support structure anywhere on the thing. Easy enough to make a upper out of aluminum on a cnc machine though. Just $$$$

You look at a HO Racing "Turbo Force" Bonnet and it is cast with thick wall aluminum and has 4 columns of support for the bonnet in the center section of the bonnet.

This manifold is designed for boost. It will take 30+ psi and can be ordered with thicker carbon if desired.

I don't know what an FGF hood is but the overall height of this manifold is less than a Super Victor with a 4150 and an air cleaner on it.

The only issue I see with height is at the front as this manifold is tallest at the front and that is where the hood would be sloping down.

This manifold isn't intended for traditional restorations and if you are at the point where you need/want this manifold the hood is a secondary concern.

It can be ordered that way.

It can also be ordered with a carburetor top instead of the forward facing throttle body as well.

No pictures. You would have to call Performance Design on that. The intent was never to do a carb manifold but they CAN do a carb manifold, it wouldn't be that hard. You would have to eliminate the ram tubes for fuel distribution which would make the manifold more of a traditional tunnel ram.

Performance Design can incorporate about any change you would like to see to fit your needs.

The bolt pattern is 4.5" square and the throttle body is 125mm (almost 5"). You could order the flange for a 4150 or 4500 pattern (toilet) but I see no reason why as the 125mm moves more air. The 125mm is available from KCS (like ours) or from Accufab (not quite as nice but still sweet)

The bolt holes around the outside are for attaching things like throttle cable brackets and what-not.
