1964 gto 389 eng, auto trans, is it possible to remove oil pan with eng in vehicle?

Possible only after taking enough loose and lifting it high enough that you might as well just take the engine out and make the removal and installation of the pan an easy job.

Modified Drag Car Frame, Yes.

Stock Chassis Factory Install deal, EXTREMELY DIFFICULT and the much extra time trying to figure a way to get the pan past the crossmember.

Well before that time you could have:
The Trans/converter disconnected. The Hood Removed or (rotated out of the way by removing some fender mounting bolts). The engine pulled and mounted on the engine stand.

I have removed the engine/oil pan/ Muncie Trans at least 10 times over the last 49+ years I have owned the car.
