It's all demolished now.
Test tracks all torn out and ground up into big piles of asphalt

Shame - I can remember lots of cool stories out there - even into the 80's where they had an IROC with an LS-6 crate motor in it!

A couple of photos from 1968 shortly after my car left the sales lot. My dad took these pictures on the Angeles Crest Highway.

Whats the big bumper sticker? I like the white walls. I thought I wanted redlines but I just cant pull the trigger. I want radials so I might put on whitewalls. I like the way it looks formal. I think the stock radial was a 195 70 14?

It must be a California temporary license plate. I think it is actually paper.

Default laid to rest

I junked a 68 bird in early 90's that had the open scoops and ram air pam still attached. Car was wrecked and rusted severly had a big block chevy and a 12 bolt rear. Salvaged hood and pan, rally gauges and some deluxe interior parts. Car was black on black. I still have the body plate and trim tag somewhere in a box. I will look it up the next time I run across it. May have not been a factory RA car but it did have the original pan.

I bought the car in West Virginia near beckley but by the title and inspection sticker it appears to have come from South Carolina.

I was almost afraid to ask! My car was as well. 68 Windward blue with an HO stripe. I couldn't get any original pics from the owner. Thanks for sharing!
