Default HELP!Do I need speedometer reducer for 3:55 to 3:90 gear?

I want to go from a 3:55 rear gear to a 3:90 gear and wondering if I will need a speedometer reducer when changing the speedometer gear?What color and or how many teeth speedometer gear do I need for a 3:90 rear gear also.Any help would be much appreciated.Thanks
