Arrow 1969 Impala Custom 33k orig miles

Selling or trading a 1969 Chevy Impala Custom 2dr hard top.
Very low 33,000 mile original 69 Impala Custom 2dr hardtop. I'm 3rd owner.
This car was truly the little old lady car, her name is on the protecto plate, bought new by her in September of 1969.
Car is Burnished Brown with a Champagne Mist painted top over deluxe Gold cloth/vinyl interior.
Car has the high performance 300HP 350 4bbl with TH350 auto trans and a 12 bolt rear.
Factory Dual exhaust(new)
Power Brakes,Power Steering, and Air Conditioning(working)
Car was parked in her attached garage in 1978 with only 28,000 miles. She was a snowbird who spent her winters in Florida, so the car was not driven in Michigan winters.
Bumpers and trim are nice and straight.
The interior is nearly perfect showing only the slightest wear, the exterior of the car retains a good portion of original paint, but has had some paintwork done on the sides, all of which was performed in the early 70's before the car went into long term storage. The exterior isn't show car perfect, but it's very presentable, and the car gets lots of compliments on it's originality, even with minor imperfection.
The car runs, rides and drives fantastic, just like you would expect a 33 thousand mile car to drive.
2nd owner had the engine pulled and gaskets replaced, engine bay detailed, new gas tank,re cored radiator, new exhaust, and he went through the brake system.
Car is titled and plated in my name.
Looking for the next caretaker of this low mileage time capsule.
This is a super clean, get in and drive across country car.

I'm looking for an early 60's car, yours doesn't need to run, but I need presentable paint, looking for a 60-61-62 Catalina or Ventura, or 62 GP.
I can trade up or down with CASH for the right car.
If I sell, looking for $10000
located in Three Rivers,Mi

Cool Damn you!!!

I love the Custom...same top as a Caprice. The 12-bolt means it has the heavy duty F-41 suspension package.Should have sway bars and H-D springs and shocks. Gotta ask....what's your bottom dollar? I think I can find you an early Poncho. I know a few guys who are hoarders and aren't getting any younger.

Ron the 12 bolt has nothing to do with f41. It comes standard with the 350-300 horse engine. It is a cool car. I wish it was a different color interior. I'd be going to Michigan.

In my mind's eye, I can still picture my neighborhood in Camp Hill, Pa being filled with cars like that back in the early-mid '70's. Nice car.

I've only seen it on Big Block cars unless optioned as F-41...which was prerequisite on SS models as well. A guy has a '69 Malibu he shows locally and his original paperwork shows F-41 and he explained it to me as being HD suspension, sway bars and 12-bolt. Praise be to PHS...although I have evidence that they were not 100% accurate, Anyway...still love to have that Chebby! BTW...friend of mine raced a '66 Nova SS...true L-79 "Killer Nova"...but he ran it in K or L Stock as a 283/220 HP car and got away with running the 12-bolt it came with by telling the tech guys that the car had the "trailer towing package"....just a cute story.

Haven't been on here in a few days, sorry.
The car doesn't have rear sway bar.
It has always been my understanding that 327 and bigger CID got the 12 Bolt, actually I think it was 327 4bbl and bigger.

Ron, if you are really interested, send me a PM for more info, and bottom CASH price.

Brown is my favorite color, and over the years I've really started to appreciate the older cars with ANY interior color other than boring ass black!!!

That's a very nice car.

I was killing time last night, and I started doing a Searchtempest search on everything within about a 300 mile radius of my house. I searched by year, starting at 1964 and going to 1978. Anything that was somewhat "rare" was expensive ($30K or more), and most of the decent cars and trucks were a miminum of $8K and weren't as nice.

Good luck on your sale.

Arrow Sold??

Received a 10% CASH deposit today, sale pending balance of payment.

Guy drove 2 1/2 hrs from Chicago area, took the car on a long drive, thanked me for the honest description, said the car drove better than he was expecting and that he was "tickled" with it. He then handed me a stack of dead presidents to hold it for a few days while he makes arrangements to get it home.

Thanks for the interest here guys, and thanks to PY board for the space here.
