Default Hollywood Nights 1965 GTO

Hey folks, does anyone know what ever happened to the orange 65 GTO they used in The Hollywood Nights movie?
My black '65 when I bought it had been painted over the original paint in orange laquer with an aftermarket black vinyl roof installed and had custom door panels just like the movie car.
Never gave it much thought, but I think it would be really funny if by some chance it turned out to be the same car.
It is a PHS documented original tripower 4-speed.
Here's a clip with the car from the movie- mind the language though:

I loved that movie. Car Crafts project x was the 57 Chevy. It would be cool if that was your car.

The movie car has what appears to be a legitimate California plate on it....that is period correct. If you have a paper trail on the car, you could do some detective work and might find your answer. My take is, by 1980, these cars were starting to get respect again, and a decent one like the movie car likely survived.
