Holiday/Roadtrip Tips
Hey,
some people will already know me from the 62-66 Big Pontiac Tech forum, but I am hoping to get here some help too. I and two other friends of mine are planing to do a few days of holiday or better a roadtrip in the USA. The whole thing will last between 10 and 12 days (I know thatīs not much time, but it is not possible to stay longer at the moment) and will take place in march or april. The theme is hot rods / custom cars and photography. We will travel around between Las Vegas, Phoenix, L.A. and San Francisco. We are looking for cool meetings, speed shops or workshops which are doing guidings for "tourists", scrapyards, nice highways which have to be driven down, maybe a shooting range to try this one time ... I already found some nice spots we want to go, like cars and coffe in Vegas, donut derelicts in huntington beach, ... But maybe you could feed me with some insider tips  (it has not to be pontiac specific, all old custom cars are welcome)Thanks a lot, with best regards from austria Stefan |

Drive highway 101 to get between LA and San Francisco. It takes twice as long as the 5, but it's 10 times more pleasant.
