Advice on shipping a rear end
Hi,
I was wondering if you guys could give me some advice on having a rear end shipped. All boxed up it's about 6'x3'x18" and is about 300 lbs. It will be shipped from out east to either Montana or Alberta depending on the cost difference. I've shipped the odd car but never a piece of freight of this size before so any advice is appreciated. Thanks |

You could strap it to a pallet, put shrink wrap around it and use a freight Co. I have done it w/ Old Dominion & ABF, but sure that all the others like Overnight etc. will do it as well. They pretty much all require that it be Pkg'd this way.

Get in touch with Freightquote https://www.freightquote.com/tour/si...ixqaaure8p8haq I think the rear is class 80 and if you can ship it from a business address with a dock or a fork lift to the same type of address it will be the cheapest. If they have to transfer it to a short truck with a lift gate to pick up or deliver they will charge more for it.
