Digital timer with hp sodium light
Can a Digital timer work with a 70 watt hp sodium light no dusk to dawn sensor? Tech. is closed so looking here .http://cache-m2.smarthome.com/manual...%20install.pdf

Would not mess with it until you get definitive answer. I know that some have a ballast with capacitor in them that can unload on you if you use a tester etc. incorrectly, so I would wait for knowledgable answer. Also, some are 220v. Not much help I know, but I have talked to fellow electricians who advised me against screwing with them when I did not know what I was looking at.

Thanks for the reply. decided to go with a standard spring wound HD timer .
