Default 64 GTO lower 2-groove crank pulley

Does anybody know if lower double groove pulley #9786713 (7 3/8" D. x 2 1/4" H.) is correct for a 1964-1966 389 engine? It has 3/8" and 1/2" grooves. The only info that I can dig up is that it fits 1967-70 GTO, Lemans, FBird, Catalina.

None of the 64 pulleys had #s on them. I will check what I have tomorrow for you. I know the 65 pulley is the same but has a part #.

I found 64 and 65 use the same 2-groove crank pulley.

#9775627 (7-9/32'' dia.)

Sorry I only have the 65 pulley with the part # on it. It is the same as the 64 but not correct for concourse judging.

2 groove pulley for 65 shows 7-1/4 9778802 just 1/32 smaller than 64 from MPC 12-1-64

Actually the crank pulleys on 64s and 65s are not 100% interchangeable. On 65s the grooves are farther away from the front of the engine. On cars without power steering they use the same water pump pulley. In '64 the belt rides in the front groove of the crank pulley and in '65 it rides in the rear groove.
