This car will need a complete restoration to be roadworthy. The 389 will run with a battery and bypassing the fuel line, seats are there, but the foam and cloth are mostly not there. This is the 9 passenger model, very little rust (Arizona car, small holes in front quarters and a thin line of bubbles across the bottom of the tailgate (both easy fixes, flat metal) and surface rust, I Ospho-ed a bad part of the surface rusted roof and it sanded down to smooth, useable metal). The front bumper is shiny under the coat of dust on it in the picture. The rear drivers quarter was hit gently (The bumper pushed in a little, but if you pulled it back out it is still in good shape, missed the uber rare taillights and didn't affect the tailgate at all.). WS has a crack and the tailgate window motor needs replacing, all the other glass is good. A semi-restored car similar to this one sold on Ebay for $17K (the Ebay car was bagged and was mechanically sound, but the left the body like this one, just a clearcoat over the rust. According to the previous owner, he stopped driving it when the fuel line became clogged, but the transmission worked fine... It has been said the Roto-Hydro transmissions can sit for long periods of time and still work fine. The only reason I'm selling is because I have some medical bills, I would love to keep it. My plan was to purchase a rolled over late model Tahoe and put the entire drivetrain in this, get the seats re-done and drive the wheels off of it without ever having to worry about door dings.
