I'm about 75% through my resto and will be needing all the trim clips soon. My car is in the body shop so I'd like to get them now incase holes need to be drilled before paint. I had almost no trim or clips to start with so I have no idea what I need. Could anyone give me the style and quantity I need for all of the moldings?

Too much to ask for. It would be best to find a comfortable chair and break out a PY catalog. Fisher Body book and assembly guide would also help.

Windshield trim clips and studs if missing
Rear windshield trim clips and studs if missing Long lower trim clips depend on early or late style molding Lower door trim clips Lower rear qtr trim clips and studs if missing or use screws Rear qtr dog leg clips 3 butterflys each side Long trunk molding clips Vinyl top trim clips (if you have vinyl top) Front of door beltline clips (not all cars used these) I think this covers the clips in general. Some are special and not easily available, others are available from PY or Ames. Lots of screws needed along the way as well. Good luck. Steve |

FWIW;
This section will cover all exterior trim/molding. Does not give counts but will help you determine what you should be looking for. http://www.thefirstgensite.com/libra...7S17P39_48.pdf

Thanks guys, I need every clip for every molding on the car. I will need new studs for the front and rear window moldings as well. No vinyl top, and I have the 2nd design rocker panels. I may have the rocker panel molding clips though; I will have to dig through my parts stash next weekend

It would be nice if someone would offer a complete and correct clip and fastener kit for these cars.
