Default Down Under Car Show Pics

G'Day All,
Haven't posted many pics this season as the weather hasn't been that great for car shows.
Finally got a great day for one of the biggest shows we have here in Melbourne.
It is held at the foot of a rocky outcrop called Hanging Rock.
This is only a small sample of just some of the cars that attended. We normal get a few thousand cars show up. It is basically open to all makes as long as there is something unique about them.
First shot is of some fauna I spied on the climb up the rock to get a few scenic shots.
Last several shots show our friend Skippy make an appearance. Bloody hard getting an action shot of him. One the last shots you can see my GTO (MYGOAT) in the background while he check the cars out. Hope you enjoy. Feel free to ask questions.

Thank you for your effort. I really enjoy the down under car show pics. The unusual vehicles that we don't see here for one. The individualism that many modded cars have. The obvious celebration of American vintage. And the people look like a great bunch. I would love to attend one, probably never will, so your pics are greatly appreciated!

Great show! Your GTO is lookin good MG. BTW that's a good looking MGB-GT as well.
Also love seeing that Checker cab. I haven't seen one here since the 80s.

Thanks for sharing!

P.S. I sold a tri-power setup for a 65 GTO to a guy there a few years ago. It took 40-some days to get there by boat. He was well pleased!

Warm weather & kangaroos are two things we just don't have here in the US! Great pics! Firebirds look popular, & your GTO looks great!

Sad to hear that on Monday the 9th a funeral service was held at the very same venue for Mr. Neil Thompson - a true car guy from the Blue Oval side. In his short life he did a great deal of good in helping restore other peoples GT Falcons to their former Glory.

I'm going to miss his TV shows.
