Default Wienermobile Crashed in Enola, Pennsylvania

Story here.....

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/offbea...id=ansnewsap11

On my way to Nebraska back in July of 2011 I did see it heading east on the PA Turnpike. Kinda cool to see in person after only seeing photos of it.

I've seen a Weinermobile three times in the last couple years - twice it was parked at a hotel down the street from my office, and once I passed it on the highway. Not sure why they were showing up in the Twin Cities area so often.

Well, at least no one was rear ended by it.

Looks more like West Fairview to me then Enola. But it's just west of the southern end of the Enola Rail Yards.

As said in the news.... there are several Wienermobiles across the country. This one almost ended up a dog on a stick. LOL

But you must admit, it is a piece of Americana.

Kraft right here in Madison, WI owns them. We see them all the time. College marketing students drive them all over the US.

Miami Herald humor columnist Dave Barry had use of one for a few days. He suggested to his son he pick him up from school in it. "Dad, No!" his son replied. So of course he did.

It looks very fixable. Nothing a few gallons of Bondo can't fix.

Wouldn't we all?

Sad story - think they'll fix it?

You got to read some of the comments sent in after the story. Did they give out a whistle or something back in the day?

Hey baby, let me crash my wiernermobile into your garage. There's some blues in there somewhere. Rev. Billy Wertz probably already covered it.
