Im coming out starting at 15 and going up.......you do the math, sweet heart! I tried it at Norwalk and my valve spring wouldn't allow it, although I did run a 8.30 on 6 cyl. (hoping and banging down the 1/4 mile) and coasting the last 320'! Why would you think at 15 or more lbs of boost it wouldn't run deep (.60-80's) into the 7's?
Yea...........I know I have a clue! LOL!

PS Brians car should kick ass..........just saying!

I see you are preparing the excuses.

You'll likely need them.....

Sorry George but your info is wrong again. The Butler's/Travis run far above 30 psi of boost.
Think closer to 50+ psi of boost.

So Brian is not in the Butler's arena, Brian is more in the "4 cylinder Charlie" 30+ psi of boost range.

You need to actually do a bit of research george once in a while vs shoot from the hip constantly and post miss-information.

just saying.

Tom Vaught

(Agree Mike, Preparing the excuses). That being said, George is a GOOD driver and with a bit of luck he might not break something else on his car like last time. He might go into the 7s. I am pulling for him to do it.

Well Tommy Boy 30+ that covers boost up till 50, never said 30-35 or 30-39 I said 30+. I have no idea what boost Brian will run, with my (old school) 8-71 it can only make 20 lbs of boost on my engine, what did Brian run before 24.........26 and he ran what 8.44 something, well I have never been past 11.5 of boost still ran 5.08 in the 1/8th. and 168 in the 1/4 at 9.5 lbs of boost.......yea I'm OK! Roots Blowers forever!!

George, too bad when I post facts you have to resort to name calling of me, Mike, and others. That aside, you seem to be racing "Boost" which is just a number on a gage (like your deal is so efficient).

Explain to me how a 347 cid Ford in 1998 (in a legal weight 3000# Mustang) was able to run 7.50 at 179 mph with 21 psi of boost and your deal is 1/2 second slower with a 188 cubic inch LARGER engine 17 years later. (And has not run in the 7s). We are not talking 30+ psi of boost here George. Even if you ran your engine at 21 psi of boost, I personally would not be impressed that your deal took a 188 MORE cubic inches to run the same number as the little 347 cid Ford engine. By the way it ran the number with a 2 speed trans, a 10.5W tire, on GASOLINE. The owner could bracket race the engine, could go on a 30 mile street drive before the event and then run the number 12 times in a week-end.

So historically you are way behind in your program. Brian should do well with his deal as he will be closer to the Mustangs (and your weight), he will run more boost, he will have a larger engine, and now an inter-cooler.

Tom V.

So that's really embarresing to Brian. Brian ran more boost (24-26) and ran about 1 sec slower.........darn explain that to me Tom.
You have a habit of changing the story around when you retell something........FACT!

Tom I don't hear anything.
