Thanks! Just brought it home last week. I'm still a ways from getting my car on the road. Be bugging my engine builder to finish. Just drop off the trans, will be done next week. My first goal is to have a running and driving car. It's nice to have the big $$$ items behind me! Scott

You are really doing it up right!
Where'd you cop the nice breather? ...and the steering wheel looks perfect.

Looks great! Keep posting pics...hey, I think I saw you GP a few weeks ago near Target. Nice car if it was!
I'm at the same stage as you with my wife's car (65 Mustang...yeah, I know). I'll get the engine back in a couple weeks. The car is just sitting there all painted like yours. It does feel good to get the big ticket items checked off the list, doesn't it! Did you use someone local for the trans? |

It's the original breather, still holds vacuum. I used Por-15 two part epoxy. Had the trims rechromed. Center cap is original. I'd give it a 8.5 out 10. Thanks

Yes that was my GP. I go the the gym next to Target. Had my trans rebuilt by Whittier Auto Transmissions (Ray). Great guy and very far rate. Hi Torque, IMI Performance Products, Inc. is a few doors down from him. Bought a mini starter for my friend $160

Update. Finally! I got my complete exhaust system from R.A.R.E. Took about 9 plus months. After getting it, I feel it was worth the wait. Installed it Sunday. Fired up my rebuilt 400. Pumping some HP.Had a few leaks oil, water etc.Sounds Great!!!! Full speed ahead getting it on the road. Will be posting some pictures soon. Scott

That's gotta be a great feeling. You might be on time for the Father's Day car show on Birch Street!

Not yet. I've been waiting to get it running and work the bugs out first, before I assembled the front end. I've been stock piling parts. I have about 95% of all parts ready to go on.

5000K? Great score!
Why couldn't I find one that nice when had the money. Ended up with having well hidden crash damage and lots of rust. The bondo on the wheel wells looked like factory steel until removing the moldings to do a repaint...

You're doing a fantastic job on that car. I can tell you from experience now, the color gets a lot of attention on the street.
