IIRC when I fired her up last night around 127k on all original drivetrain and rust free bod Posted couple of pix as I believe still has factory wires, etc. Lesson I've learned is "don't" from past use rubber "conditioner" on underhood seals...

Well, I deviated from the theme bought one of those Lith-Ion boosters and used one of the handful of cheapo Harbor Freight clip on battery tenders

Not much color to be seen lately due to oil seepage from valve covers, etc. used to really get bent outta shape about that kinda stuff, lately not so much. Consider myself pretty lucky to have scored this #s matching w all original purchase paperwork etc. yrs ago and realized again last night if I wanted to or had to thin the herd...this would be the one to keep...and that's saying a lot IMO as right next to this is our '79 Y84 W72 WS6 4-spd

Below are more pix that were posted on Bobs Excellent Gold Car Thread (yeah, yeah I know "what a piece of junk our Martinique is" right?)

I can only post a single pic per reply from my iPad so here is the series specific to our '78 TA BTW - the wiring is blue line & white line on seperate black wiring coming off of the harness up near the top of the fender close to the plastic air intake extension

This is a Van Nuys water base paint refused upon delivery and repainted @ dealership now a "crocodile paint job" that claims the space in our garage that my wife's new 2015 Fusion could be living in next to the same primo metal & condition '79 Y84 w72 4-spd wS6

TY Gentleman, of course I've gotta be unique and call this TA "Martini" . no recent pix of undercarriage , but it's pretty boring rust free with dust oil etc...all original. Mileage @ approx 127k IIRC. Whatta piece!

Thxs Bob no Burnouts as this one still has original 1978 clutch/pres.plate, etc.

Last time I had it @ track in Baytown (yrs ago) for two runs down the 1/4 mile:

turned 15:12 1st run - driver (me) - asleep @ the wheel, 2nd run 'Lil better @ 14:89 et w (IIRC) 95mph "rowing through the gears"

That's w original closed scoop, factory log manifolds, 245/60/15 Tyres, stock, stock, stock cept cheap h-pype duals w turbo muffs.

Thumbs up

Few years ago, our electricity was off for 15 days due to Hurricane wind damage to trees falling on power lines.
So...plenty of idle time to rotate some of the Pontiac's around and take a few pix like this one w the Martini in
the background of our '67 GTO below.

Grabbed the pic from the web HERE (scroll down )

Whoo Hooo what Alvin? I can't see any attached pictures on my ipad for some reason - just a box indicating that there should be attached pictures. Also noticed that problem in a couple other threads with new pictures attached as thumbnails.
