68 bumper question
What is the proper position from left to right for the 2 rubber bumpers that fit between the rear body and the bumper? Are they visible with the trunk lid open when installed properly?

I pulled a pair off a 4 door hardtop in the yard and they were, as best I can recall, several inches inboard of the 'notched' areas above the tailights...maybe 4 or 5 inches...so that's about where I put them on mine.
Yes, you can see them just a bit with the trunk open. That's how I spotted them in the yard.
