1968 Exhaust Manifolds
I putting together my engine and I mixed up my manifolds with Catalina manifolds..
Can someone post picts of standard manifolds for a 68 400? My car is a 68 HO but it lost its original motor long before I got it.. so I picked up a 68 Cat 400 engine and a 69 350 HO engine.. they got mixed up... I want to assemble the engine before I drop it in. Thanks.. James

I took a picture of the manifolds in question.. the top two I believe are from the 69 350 engine.
and the bottom two are from the 68 400 Catalina engine. The numbers on the manifolds are as follows top to bottom or left to right.. pict may have rotated : 9779033 490 142 .. .. .. .. 48 8779828 thanks James

I pulled the engine out of 68 Cat but I need to run numbers... it could be from another car or year...
Can any of these manifolds work for my 68 GTO? james

A bodies need the dumps to be on the back on both sides because of the cross member location. The ones on the right will work.
Fullsize, Grand Prix and first gen firebirds use the ones with one center dump.

Ok thanks... I would like to get the HO manifolds but the 400 a pr.. that is a bit steep for just a driver...
