Loss of a Good Pontiac Guy
I just got word yesterday of the death of Mike Osborn, a long-time Pontiac guy from Tucson. Mike was a good guy. He had a '64 GTO that he had run on the street and at the drags for years. Here's a link to an HPP shoot-out that Mike and I were involved in at Pontiac Heaven back in 2011:
http://www.hotrod.com/events/coverag...pest-1964-gto/ Paul Carter (GTOFreek) and I visited Mike at the hospital here in Tucson about a week before Pontiac Heaven and he was still hoping to make it to this year's event, but it wasn't to be. Mike had been attending Pontiac Heaven each year for as long I can remember and was a pretty regular racer out at SIR here in Tucson. He was in his 40's and way too young to go. He will be missed. R.I.P. Jim
