The little Ford in 1998 (with less cubic inches, less tire, and conventional headers) ran several tenths quicker vs George's combination today (using a belt driven supercharger with the same mass flow as George's engine). PERIOD.

I like boost numbers...my 5.9 regularly sees 35 psi.

Back to topic...Brian the car is looking great. Can't wait to see it tearing up the track.

You stated my car has never been weighed..........1/2 truth! I weighed it at Norwalk not that long ago.
Obviously you are GREATLY over paid at Fords! If that's the best you can do........engineer my BUTT! LOL!
Unlike your Ford buddy's I actually bracket race my car. Hello McFly its a bracket race engine.........SMALL cam, LOW rpm, LOW boost A BRACKET engine!
My info has never changed as you stated, check my posts ........more 1/2 truths! LOL!

George, read thru the threads once in a while before you post. I realize that it is hard when Jeff, Brian, Jack, Mike, and others are actually trying to help you at the end of the day.

Good luck with your deal Brian.

Flyin... yes some issues were fixed while it was apart and BES did the work.

Thank you for the kind words!

No intercooler before. So it will be an added bonus to the setup.

Distribution of fuel should be a lot better with the Marcella Intake Mods and the conversion to Fuel Injection vs the Blow-thru Carb set-up.

Charge air temps in the intake manifold should be +50% lower with the addition of the Water to Air Inter-cooler system.

Lots of good mods for this years racing effort.

More progress made...

Mounting the Holley LCD 7" screen to the dash

The water tank and trans-cooler/chiller are mounted in the truck and ready for tubing.

Part 2

Pics of the crank support that is being modified by Mark @ Luhn Performance. The original support was an All-Pontiac piece and LPI is changing around some things to meet my needs.

Part 3

Piping fab is done and being welded this week. Below are pics of the pipe inside the car and the pass-thru pipe that I panel bonded to the firewall.

Special Thanks to John Marcella (AKA: Magic Man) for coming through on the 5" V-band when no one else could get one!!!

Looks like it's coming along nicely. How do you perfectly align the stub shaft on the bearing support? I'm assuming the mounts have a slight amount of play in them?
