Default Best Tire Shop online

I need to buy some new front tires for a set of 17" rims that a forum member was very generous to give me. I have searched online but wanted to see what others experience was as far as pricing and service. Thanks for your help.

I have used Tirebuyer a couple of times and I have used Summit. For the Coker red lines for my 65, Summit had them at the same price as did Coker, but Summit shipped them free. In all cases, I arrange my own mounting and balancing. For both Summit and Tirebuyer, tires were at my house within two days.

Summit, Tire Buyer and Tire Rack. I used Summit because I was also buying some wheels so they mounted and balanced everything. I check everything off of what I see on Tire Rack and generally end up back there.

Thumbs down

If you have a problem with Tire Rack, good luck.

I did, and was very disappointed.

I ended up going with Walmart online. They were cheapest available as my wife is a manager for them and we get 10% off and free shipping to store. Saved over 80 bucks over using discount tire direct and about 85 over tire rack. They charge 12 bucks a tire for install but I get 10 % off that too so 43 bucks for all 4. Thanks for all your advice and help.

I've used tirerack.com and tirebuyer.com for mail order tire's and tire's discount for local stuff. With tire rack I tend to get my tire's ordered and delivered with in 24 hr's smetime's. JMO Good luck.

Lightbulb Any Walmart w/ service center will do ...

I travel in every of the lower 48 states & I get my truck & trailer tires at Walmart.

I run Dextero LT in an " E " load range on both ...

My experience - you cannot beat Walmart for convenience - price - service.

Got the new 17" rims and tires on the Lemans yesterday. Love the look of the 17's and with a little elbow grease(from my son) the should look even better. HWYSTR455 your the man, thanks again.

Just used Simple Tire. Was here in two days to Mi. Saved $30.00/tire from closest source and would have been 1.5 hr. drive one way.
