not that I recall, but a car like that probably would have been fixed.

Are you thinking that you might have my dad's car?

I am assuming that you have the PHS on the car? I believe that dad was the second owner and it would have been delivered to southern Wisconsin or possibly northern Illinois? Where was yours delivered to?

I don't remember his car having an 8 track player, but I could be mistaken. I was only 6 when he got rid of the car, so details like that may not have been noticed. I get pretty excited when I get a lead like this. With only 79 cars made with a 4 speed, the numbers are in my favor!

I wish I had a VIN number too! When dad traded the car, nobody thought about keeping the VIN. Dads car was damaged pretty heavily by the next owner on the right front corner of the car. As I remember it, it would have needed a passenger fender, inner fender, core support, radiator and shroud, hood, upper ram air pan and probably flapper doors, grills, valence and possibly some suspension components. I remember the hood being folded up pretty good.

Jeff, sorry I missed your call tonight. What is the best time to call you in the evenings? I am assuming that you are in the Eastern time zone.

Do you have the name it was registered under?
I grew up in Watervliet and graduated HS in 1977.
Moved away in 1980, but came back for 1987-1988.
