Yea not I only get out 4 to 5 times a year. It's expensive to run a low 8 sec car.

In fact, I noticed you run much lower pressure than I do (7 1/2#). I thought maybe you knew something I didn't, but maybe not. Seems like our cars are pretty comparable (performance, weight, etc.).

If I run more 6 or more cold the car seems to bounce when I leave the line.

We saw a very similar thing once on a pair of M&H slicks, this was after just a dozen passes on an 8 second car . We put it down to a manufacturing defect or maybe old stock tyres that had sat on the shelf for too long.
