to see a fellow "Day Two" guy. Having grown up "in the day" gives you insight as to just how ridiculous it is to see LS-6 Chevelles on Redline or even Wide Oval tires on stock wheels. If you showed up at a street race with stock exhaust manifolds you were scoffed at, ridiculed or worse...ignored completely. Seriously...muscle cars were like Harleys. If you wanted yours to be different from all others...don't touch it! Takes 'nads to deviate on a Judge resto...so kudos for that! Sounds like you are showcasing the who's-who of Pontiac talent! I know most all of them personally and they are the benchmarks in this hobby. Now...get us some damned burn-out pix!!!

Well the test drive went well only had one small glitch I was about two blocks from home on the way to the gas station and heard something fall off the car and hit the road stopped and found a 7/16 wrench that I must have left on the frame rail . car runs good the trans is a little stiff shifting but it seems to be getting better the roller cam and carb that I had SD performance do for me are really nice car pulls hard and sounds fantastic I need to work on the timing and advance tune it some but that will come in time as will a few other detail items proper fan shroud, radio upgrade, new tires and send shifter to hurst to have it rebuilt heres a few pics of it out side for the first time in 5-6 years sorry no burn out pics yet no one around to take the pic but it does boil the tires clutch and cone 3:90 posi still works

Wink Or...

you could send the shifter to Pete Serio and get it COMPLETELY redone. Pete had some parts made for the redo that Hurst no longer has access to, I believe. Anyway...car looks grrreat! Now...have fun with it.

That looks like a fun car.

Pete Serio will do a better job with the shifter if you want to use him, and it will be replated.

Nicely done!! Great car Sir! Thank you for the pictures, it's really neat to see the older pics. I especially enjoyed the one of the used car lot, brings back a lot of great memories. I can only imagine what it must feel like driving the car again after it sitting for so long, waiting for the restoration to be completed. I have had my 68 Olds 442 in various stages awaiting completion now for 10 years. Sometimes I wonder if I will ever finish it. Again thanks for the pictures and hope you enjoy and have fun with your nicely done 69 CR Judge. I'm sure it was very well worth every minute of the wait!

I love the white interior on the car. The last 4 GTO's I've had has had white insides. My 73 that I bought new which I still have ,,, the one in my pic, White is the only insides to have. Also did I see a 69 GTO in the garage that is the Blue & white pattern like the RA V cars had??? Tell us some about that car to.....
