He always just supplied them with dates. I think he gave me a bag of extras from my 71 car. Though the dates would be may-june 71...I will check.. But he always supplied them with the date codes and model numbers .. I would guess he could provide them without these though... Remind me tomorrow and I will get the book with all my Pontiac contacts out and PM you his contact info. Also, for some reason...I think one of the repo houses sells these labels... may be wrong..

I think Rick is correct. I know very little about FB's after 70/71 model years(except that I like them) so I didn't answer the buckle holder question...but my first thought when reading your question was that they were discontinued after the 71 model year... I am sure some 72 model year owners can confirm this... but I think Rick has you on the right track...

When you get a chance, could you post a photo of your jacking instructions from the underside of the trunk lid? I am very curious to see what a corect one should look like since most, if not all of the repros, are incorrect.

Attached is a picture of the original paper jacking instruction decal and the original location. I sent this to Dave at ECS about 4 years ago in the hope he could make a reproduction. He never did and sent the original back. Maybe you will have better luck because the current repros are not good.

Close but I wouldn't use it. The fonts are all wrong, as well as the illustrations. I think if you can send the close up photos of yours to ECS, they should finally be able to make an accurate reproduction of the decal. They are great there - if he uses yours to make a new repro, you get your original (or photo) and free samples back, no charge. That's what he did for me when I had him repro the 72 455HO emissions label.

The TA HAULR was in service last weekend. I made a trip up to north Dallas on Saturday to pick this gorgeous gal up. ccie3611 (Brent) and I were able to put together a deal that will let me be the new caretaker of this beautiful unmolested car.

I will be dusting her off, giving her a bath and see if she'll shine like a new penny. Also fluff a few things here and there and this art conservation project should have a great result.

I am very proud to share that Adrian will be going to the American Muscle Car Museum in Melbourne Florida. It will be open Spring 2016.

Adrian was so tight, there was virtually nothing left to fluff on her. I wanted to start a new project here at home while Muscle Car Memories restorations starts on the 'Sister' '72 TA Lucy/White up in Lincoln NE.

Art Conservation is definitely a different approach and I've always been a study of the original aspects/tendencies of these early TA's, so this project should be a lot of fun.

Here they are together. Fun.
Also, here's a copy of the PHS. Heavily optioned by TA standards!

I am glad to see a historical approach to a car like this. Preservation is a good term. I look at these like vintage 50's Les Pauls...... totally beat ones are around that were redone to beauty, but ohhh, those original with love scuffs vintage wood ones, they drop jaws. Same with cars like this..... not about perfection but about vintage mojo. I have a very original vintage house, I learned it and people tell me often, all the $$$ in the world can't recreate the mojo... same with this car. IMO Sounds like Adrian off to bigger glory!

Survivor cars are a lot more fun. And you don't have to spend any time cleaning or primping them for shows. Just get in and drive.

Funny, I bought my retirement home in Melbourne Fl. last June.
